What is every dictators biggest fear?

1 word, technically 2, but they belong together: the people! What is the biggest weapon of a dictator? Propaganda and fear! Every dictator is a narcist, no matter where he is from. It’s always about themselves, even if a brother or sister saved the life of an uncle or aunt in his entourage, the dictator will make sure that it will be all about him/her. Why is this? To make the people believe that he is the best that they could wish for, “look what i did”! Like Trump signing the executive order about the “Gulf of America” renaming on super bowl sunday, this is the perfect example of “look at me” strategy. Dictators will ALWAYS try to control the media, Putin has the state television, Trump-Musk dictatorship has Twitter (in my eyes it is still Twitter). Telling lies is another big one! They keep lying about how great they and the country are doing, even though the country might go bankrupt, the dictator will make sure to cover this up by lying that the economy is doing just fine! But why even tell all those lies? It’s to keep up appearences offcourse. Who wants a leader that fails in everything? Nobody! You want to create fear, internally as well as externally. Look at Putin, he said a 100 times that he would retaliate by using nukes, internally he made the law so strict, that people are affraid of using the word “invasion”. And it made the west act cautiously towards sending stuff to ukraine, in fear that the madman would send out nukes. The recent affaires going on in the USA are also spreading because Musk is causing fear by saying that “if you keep blocking us, we will send our jan 6 minions to your doorstep”, he didn’t say it outright, but this is what his opponents understood. Why is this? People in fear won’t attack, but that is where they are so wrong! You just have to look what happened in Syria, the moment the dictator shows weakness, it is over. The people will catch onto that and retaliate! That is why the democrats in the USA keep fighting, they shouldn’t fear Trump/Musk dictators! It’s a very fascinating topic, the dictators first create doubt, because people in doubt are easier to pull into a hoax, like saying “are you sure the current government is there for you, and not for themselves?” while you actually already know it is BS because your children get free education and your grandmother gets a wellfare check and her nursing home is also being payed for by the government, but yet, narcists will always find a way to make you doubt, “you are right, i am working my arse off and it isn’t getting better, gasprices aren’t going down, taxes aren’t going down, grocerie prices are not going down” while in fact they went down, but you are so caught up in this lying BS, that you start to doubt everything, and then you hear a voice on the radio, or the tv, or this ad on Twitter while you are reading what your MAGA friends are saying, you hear “Oil prices will come down if i win, make me president, and i make sure your bill in the grocerie stores will be less, i will do this and that, just vote for me, and i will do everything to make your life better”, then you think again and say “see? I was right in my mind” while being wrong the entire time. This is how they get you. Don’t get caught up in a pack of lies. Democracy is the way to go, because it ensures that your rights are kept being safe, because if you get old, you want yourself being taken care off, not like the grandmothers in Russia who are going through dumbsters behind the grocerie stores to find something to eat. When you are 70, you want to be in a cozy place, being at home or in a nursery home, where you can enjoy your final years in peace, then you will understand why your government wanted you to contribute, so they can make sure your old days are as good as possible. It is not easy to be an elderly in a dictatorship. The elderly in Russia all regret their choices of government, offcourse they won’t say that on TV, they are smarter then that, if they say they hate Putin, they go to jail. That is what dictator’s fear is . . . Whoever controls the people, whoever controls the country!
